This paper, through the establishment of index system and coordinated development degree model of economic sub⁃system and environment subsystem in the Yangtze River Economic Zone, calculates the coordinated development degree and analyzes its space-time evolution from 2004 to 2013. The results indicate that:In the aspect of time evolution, the trend pres⁃ents a“U”-shaped pattern in regional comprehensive coordinated degree which decreases firstly and then increases, besides ’ the regional comprehensive coordinated degree presents the phase feature. In the spatial evolution, the trend of the regional comprehensive coordinated degree is decreasing from east to west, and Shanghai, Zhejiang and Jiangsu which are in eastern China have the highest comprehensive coordinated development degree, the central China is the next and Yunnan and Gui⁃zhou which are in western China are the lowest, and the gap shrinks among their urban space. Moreover, the paper makes a temporal and spatial analysis from the aspects of macro-control policy, upgrading of industrial structure and optimization of re⁃gional layout, and then points out that the coordinated development degree of economy and environment is increasing gradually which is driven by the above factors. However, because there are many cities in the Yangtze River Economic Zone, the regional difference is large and there exists industrial isomorphism, which means that transforming economic growth mode, breaking through the administrative barriers, implementing the Yangtze River economic integration and then motivating the harmonious development of economy and environment are the focus of the future development.%文章通过构建长江经济带经济子系统和环境子系统的指标体系及协调度发展模型，对2004-2013年协调发展度进行计算及时空演变分析。结果表明：在时间上，长江经济带经济与环境综合协调发展度呈“U”型特征，先下降，后上升；区域综合协调发展度整体呈阶段性特征。在空间上，综合协调发展水平呈现由东向西递减的趋势，东部的上海、浙江、江苏的综合协调发展度最高，中部次之，西部的云南、贵州的综合协调发展度最低，且各城市之间的空间差异性逐渐缩小。此外，还从宏观政策调控、产业结构升级、区域布局优化等进行时空分析，指出了在上述因素的影响下，经济与环境的协调性逐渐提高，但由于长江经济带所辖城市较多、区域差异较大、产业同构等现象的存在，转变经济发展方式，突破行政壁垒，实现长江经济一体化建设，进而推动经济与环境的协调发展仍是未来发展的重中之重。
