质子交换膜燃料电池低温启动特性研究

         

摘要

A self-assistant cold start strategy for proton exchange membrane fuel cell ( PEMFC ) system is proposed with pre-heated coolant circulation. To investigate the dynamic temperature distributions of the PEMFC stack during start up, a two-dimensional transient model is developed to simulate the cold start process. The modeling results show that the temperature distribution of the stack is significantly affected by the coolant velocity distribution and the thermal capacity of stack end plate material. Therefore, implement of end plates with lower thermal capacity material and light-weight design will improve both energy efficiency and lifetime during fuel cell cold start up.%提出了一种冷却介质辅热的燃料电池系统低温自启动设计方案,并基于二维非稳态模型研究了单电池与电池堆在低温启动过程中温度的动态分布特性。研究结果表明,电池堆端板的热容效应与冷却液流速分布是影响电池堆温度分布的主要因素。降低燃料电池端板的热容及电堆的轻量化设计将有助于提高电池的低温启动能量效率与工作寿命。
