“医二代弃医”问题引发的行业思考

         

摘要

Through the ages human society had developed the tradition of having offspring inherited their fathers, career. Such tradition is explicitly applicable for high-wage and reputed jobs such as medical works. However, according to recent study, the second generation of medical workers is discouraged to practice medicine by the high risks nature of the job and the relatively low payoff compared with the payoffs of other“high effort”jobs. In addition, the intensiifed conlfict between doctors and patients also discourages the new generation. As a consequent, more and more children of medical workers claim that they are not willing to follow their parents, steps to practice medicine. According to the study, this is not a singular case and has become a social issue. Investigating this issue, we can gain deeper understanding of the dilemma that our country, s health and medical services face. Furthermore, the new medical reform will also beneift from the investigation of this issue.%“子承父业”是古今中外人类社会中人生职业生涯规划的一种古老而又长青的方式,相对于高薪而又备受社会尊重的医疗卫生事业而言,“子承父业”无可质疑。然而近些年的研究结果显示,由于职业风险高、付出与收入不符、医患矛盾紧张、医师自我认同度不高等原因,越来越多的医务人员不愿子女再从医,“医二代弃医”已发展成为社会问题。对这一问题的研究,可以更深层次地认识我国医疗卫生事业所面临的困境,也可以为“新医改”提供借鉴和参考。
