The potash deposit in the Vientiane Plain, Laos has typical diapir structural characteristics. Its secondary doming and salt depression have rather small scales, but very well developed. Depending only drilling works is hard to control the secondary salt structure bounds, while the seismic prospecting can reflect different diapiric structures clearly.
