SUVmax与MTV预测乳腺癌新辅助化疗效果的对比观察

         

摘要

Objective To observe differences of Fluoro-deoxyglucose F18 (18 F-FDG PET-CT) maximum standard uptake value( SUVmax) and mean tumour volume ( MTV) in prediction of effectiveness of neoadjuvant chemotherapy in treat-ment of breast cancer tumor. Methods A total of 63 patients with breast cancer between January 2014 and September 2015 were recruited in this study. 18F-FDG PET-CT imaging was performed before, at the end of the 1st and 2nd courses of neoadju-vant chemotherapy, and change rates of SUVmax (⊿SUVmax1%,⊿SUVmax2%) , and MTV change rates on the basis of SUV equal to 1. 5 (⊿MTV1%,⊿MTV2%) and 2. 5 (⊿MTV1′%,⊿MTV2′%) were calculated and compared. Results There were 32 patients ( effective group) and 31 patients( ineffective group) after the end of neoadjuvant chemotherapy. There were no significant differences of⊿MTV1%,⊿MTV2% and⊿MTV1′% between the two groups (P>0. 05), while values of⊿MTV2′%,⊿SUVmax1% and⊿SUVmax2% in effective group were significantly larger than those in ineffective group (P0. 05);while⊿MTV2% value of the patients whose tumor diameter less than 2. 5 cm before chemothera-py in effective group was significantly higher (P0.05),而有效组⊿ MTV2′%、⊿SUVmax1%及⊿SUVmax2%明显大于无效组(P0.05),但肿瘤长径<2.5 cm时有效组⊿MTV2%明显大于无效组(P<0.05)。结论 SUVmax与MTV对预测乳腺癌新辅助化疗效果均具有一定的优越性,且评估效果相当。
