Under the background of development transformation, Yunfu has carried out the human settlement development practices, which takes Scientific Outlook on Development as the guiding ideology and the Sciences of Human Settlements as the theoretical basis. "Jointly Development of Beautiful Environment and Harmonious Society" is the epistemology and methodology of the practices, its framework includes the vision of Yunfu human settlement, county-based major function oriented zoning, integral community construction guidelines and action outline of "Jointly Development of Beautiful Environment and Harmonious Society".
