Dr.Daoxin Xie received Bachelor degree(Plant Protection)in 1983 from Hunan Agricultural College,Master degree(Plant Pathology)in 1987 and Ph.D.(Crop Genetic Breeding)in 1990 from Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.He worked as Research Assistant in Hunan Cotton Research Institute during 1983-1984,Post-Doctoral Fellow and Senior Research Associate in John Innes Institute,Leicester University and University of East Anglia(UK)during 1990-1999.
