Objective To investigate different concentrations of glucose on the biological activities of human gingival fibroblasts. Methods The human gingival fibroblasts were cultured in 5.5, 8.8, 10, 15 and 20 mmol/L glu-cose solution for 72 hours, respectively. The morphology, proliferation and secretion of type Ⅰ collagen of the human gingival fibroblasts were determined. Results When the glucose concentration was higher than 10 mmol/L, irregular morphology, inhibited proliferation, and decreased secretion of type Ⅰcollagen of the human gingival fibroblasts were found. With the increase of glucose concentration, the biological activities of human gingival fibroblasts were affected more significantly. Conclusion High glucose concentration can cause irregular morphology of human gingival fibrob-lasts, and inhibit its proliferation and secretion of type Ⅰcollagen.%目的 探讨不同浓度葡萄糖对人牙龈成纤维细胞生物学活性的影响.方法 将人牙龈成纤维细胞分别接种于5.5,8.8,10,15及20 mmol/L的葡萄糖溶液中培养72 h,观察人牙龈成纤维细胞的形态、增殖以及分泌Ⅰ型胶原的情况.结果 当葡萄糖浓度为10 mmol/L以上时,人牙龈成纤维细胞的形态不规则,增殖受到抑制,Ⅰ型胶原分泌减少;随着葡萄糖浓度的增大,人牙龈成纤维细胞的生物学活性受影响愈明显.结论 高浓度葡萄糖可以使人牙龈成纤维细胞的形态呈现不规则,并抑制其增殖及Ⅰ型胶原的分泌.
