Objective To evaluate the value of energy mode of Doppler tissue imaging(DTI)on quantitative assessment of myocardial infarction area．Methods Five canine models with acute myocardial infarction were studied by Acuson Sequoia C 256 color Doppler system with energy mode．After intra-aortic injection of 5%human serum albumin microspheres, the myocardial contrast images were obtained before and after occlusion of the left anterior descending coronary artery．The comparison between the energy mode imaging and TTC stain of tissue sections was performed.
