In the presence of K2HPO4-Na2HPO4(pH=8.04) buffer solution,5-hydroxy-dl-tryptophan can react with benzopentanone to form a ash-purple complex.The malor absorptivity is 4.73×104L*mol-1*cm-1at 570nm.Beer,s law is obeyed in the range of 1—25.0μg/10mL.This method is accurate and rapid.This method was applied to the determination of product with satisfactory results.%在K2HPO4-Na2HPO4(pH=8.04)缓冲液中，5-羟基色氨酸与苯并戊三酮生成灰紫色络合物。最大吸收波长在570nm处，表观摩尔吸光系数为4.73×104L*mol-1*cm-1。符合比耳定律的范围为1—25.0μg/10mL，本法准确、快速，可用于产品测定，结果令人满意。
