Type 2 diabetes mellitus is an independent risk factor of cognitive impairment.In addition to the vascular damaged with high glucose and metabolic disorder, the disruption of neuronal calcium homeostasis, neurotransmitter and inflammatory response may be pathogenesis of cognitive impairment in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients.%2型糖尿病是认知功能损害的独立危险因素,除与高血糖对血管的损害及代谢异常有关外,神经元钙稳态与神经递质的异常变化以及炎症反应也是引起2型糖尿病患者认知功能障碍的可能机制.
