儿童脊柱结核术后脊柱结构的远期变化

@@ 我院自1961年1月至1968年12月,对儿童脊柱结核采用手术治疗者116例,现得到随访者64例,其中经X线摄片检查者41例.%Sixty-four children with tuberculosis of the were followed up post-operatively for about spine 15 years. Among them, 41 had late postoperative films. Roentgenography revealed: 31 cases of underdeveloped short trunk, 19 cases of scoliosis, 31 cases of kyphosis and 35 cases of fused vertebral bodies. The fusion of vertebral bodies may be divided into three types: wedge fusion, uniform fusion and displacement fusion. The causes of postoperative structural changes in the spine are discussed in this article.Hibb's fusion of the spine failed, to prevent spinal deformation in this series. Followup revealed no paraplegia in patients with severe kyphosis. This might be due to the adaptation of the spinal cord to the deformed spine.
