The calcification deposits in meconium peritonitis(MP)is considered pathognomonic.Four examples of calcification deposits in MP obtained at operation were studied by Rigaku X-ray diffractometer and Shimadzu infrared spectrophotometer.Twelve animal models of MP were made by fetal surgical technique.A whole body quantitative autoradiography of ~(45)Ca was taken in order to trace the distri.bution of calcium in the animal fetus with MP.The results indicated that main component in the calcification deposits was the cryctal hydroxyapatite. The isotope of ~(45)Ca concentrated gradually and appeared as the pathognomonic calcificated plaque in the peritoneal cavity on the 3rd day aftar intestinal perforation, and the radicactivity of ~(45)Ca in the calcificated plaque was equal to that in the bone on the 4th day.As the further increasing of radioactivity of ~(45)Ca in the peritoneal calcificated plaque, the decreasing of that in other soft tissues foliowed. These facts throw some light on formation of calcification deposits in MP.%利用X线衍射仪及红外线吸收光谱分析仪对胎粪件腹膜炎腹腔内钙化斑进行成分分析,利用宫内手术技术制成胎粪性腹膜炎动物模型,采用45Ca整体定量放射自显影技术,动态观察钙化斑的形成过程及钙在模型体内的分布.
