As the most common acute optic neuropathy among individuals who are over 50-year old, nonarteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION) is prcsumed result from a circulatory insufficiency,or infarct, within the lamina or retrolaminar portion of the optic nerve head that is supplied by the short posterior ciliary arteries. It usually presents with sudden painless unilateral visual loss, characterized visual field defects, relative afferent papillary defect and pallid optic disk edema. The exact etiology of NAION remains elusive.Although numerous risk factors have been proposed, most of them are controversial. We summarized all these risk factors in this review.%非动脉炎性前部缺血性视神经病变是50岁以上人群中最常见的急性视神经病变,该病认为是由供应筛板区和筛板后区的睫状后短动脉供血不足造成视乳头低灌注或梗阻所致.其确切病因还不清楚,研究发现多种危险因素与其发病有关,现将这些危险因素的最新研究进展作一综述.
