Objective To investigate human cytomegalovirus infection (CI) within the vascular wall of thromboangiitis obliterans (TO). Methods Vascular specimens from 41 patients with thromboangiitis obliterans and 14 normal controls were analyzed by PCR. The nucleic acid sequence of enhancer located in the upstream of immediate early(IE) gene of cytomegalovirus was used as target region for detection of cytomegalovirus DNA. The PCR products were visualized after electrophoresis. Results Cytomegalovirus DNA was found in 28 (68%) out of the 41 specimens and only in 2 (14%) out of the 14 normal vessels. Conclusions The results suggested that there was an evidence of CI in the vascular wall of TO. The association between CI and TO needs further investigation.%目的考查血栓闭塞性脉管炎血管壁中人巨细胞病毒的感染情况。方法以人巨细胞病毒即刻早期(IE)基因上游的增强子为扩增区段, 用PCR技术分析了41例血栓闭塞性脉管炎病变血管壁中和14例正常血管壁中人巨细胞病毒的感染情况。RCR产物电泳后观察结果。结果 41例血栓闭塞性脉管炎病变血管壁中有28例(68%)查到人巨细胞病毒DNA的存在,14例正常血管壁中有2例(14%)查到人巨细胞病毒DNA的存在。结论在血栓闭塞性脉管炎病变血管壁中存在人巨细胞病毒的感染,人巨细胞病毒可能与血栓闭塞性脉管炎的致病有关。
