Based on high precision and reliability of the design idea and in view of the traditional ultrasonic flowme⁃ters the accuracy is not high and the circuit is complicated and the pipeline requires a modification. A design of flowmeter system is proposed based on FPGA and TDC-GP2 high precision time measurement chip. Using FPGA as the core of logic control module, and the principle of time difference method of ultrasonic flow meter, TDC-GP 2 was made to achieve the precise measurement of time difference,the upload data were sent through the serial port to the host computer for data processing and results display. The results show that the accuracy and reliability of the sys⁃tem meet the requirements of the system.%基于高精度和可靠性的设计思想,针对传统型超声波流量计精度不高、电路复杂和需要对管道进行改装的问题,提出了一种基于FPGA和TDC-GP2高精度时间测量芯片的流量计系统设计。以FPGA为核心逻辑控制模块,结合时差法超声波流量计的原理,采用TDC-GP2实现时差的精确测量,通过串口上传数据给上位机进行数据处理和结果显示。测试结果表明,系统测量精确度和可靠性满足要求。
