Objective Toobservethepreventionandtreatmenteffectsofvalsartancombinedwithrosuvastatinonthe incidenceofparoxysmalatrialfibrillation(PAF).Methods 6OPAFpatientswhovisitedtheFirstPeople'sHospitalofJining from January,2O12 to January,2O13 were randomly divided into the observe group(n=3O)and the control group(n=3O). Patients in observe group were given amiodarone,valsartan(8O mg,once ever morning)and rosuvastatin(1O mg,once every evening),while control group were given amiodarone alone. The PAF times,AF duration,the serum level of C-reactive protein (CRP)andleftatrialdiameter(LAD)wereobserved.Results After6months'follow-up,thePAFtimes,AFduration,the serum level of CRP and the size of LAD in the observe group and in the control group were(3. 1±O. 5) times vs. (1. 6±O. 4) times,(6. 4 ±2. 6)h vs. (4. 8 ±3. 6)h,(6.
