The downward tendency of polyamide (PA) fiber production and consumption was introduced in the world. The output of PA fiber is considerably depressed in USA, West Europe and Japan, but its growth accelerates in Asia, such as China, India, Indonesia. The production, consumption, distribution and development situation of PA fiber was analyzed in China. Jiang-su, Fujian and Zhejiang Provinces are the dominating PA fiber production and consumption area in China. The production of PA 66 fiber occupies a relatively low share in China due to the raw material restriction. It was suggested that the development of China PA fiber industry should be stimulated by accelerating the product structure adjustment, raising the differential rate of products, enlarging the production scale, enhancing the added value of products and strengthening the enterprise competitive power during the twelfth five-year period.%介绍近年世界聚酰胺(PA)纤维生产消费呈下降趋势,特别是美国、西欧及日本都在大幅度削减PA纤维生产,而亚洲地区的中国、印度、印尼等则保持快速发展势态；分析我国PA纤维的生产消费、分布及发展状况,江苏、福建、浙江三省是我国PA纤维的主要生产消费地区,由于受原料限制,我国PA 66纤维生产比例较低；建议在“十二五”期间,我国PA纤维要加快产业结构、提高产品差别化率、扩大规模化,提升产品附加值和增强企业竞争力,促进行业发展.
