氧化羟基锡酸铁包覆黏土的制备及其应用于聚氯乙烯的研究

     

摘要

Clay was encapsulated with iron tin oxide hydroxide [FeSnO (OH)s] at different encapsulation ratios through a coprecipitation method.Effects of encapsulation ratio on the flameretardant,tensile and thermal degradation properties of poly (vinyl chloride)(PVC) were evaluated,and the dispersibility of encapsulated clay was investigated.The results indicated that the addition of clay could not enhance the flame retardancy of PVC,and however,the dispersibility of clay in the PVC matrix could be improved at the loading of 10 phr,which led to a maximum mechanical performance of PVC.When the encapsulation ratio was set as 1 ∶ 5,PVC compounds achieved optimum flame retardancy and their tensile properties were also improved.The incorporation of encapsulated clay enhanced the char yield of PVC compounds at 800 ℃,reduced the initial decomposition temperature and maximum weight-loss peak temperature in the first stage,and increased the maximum weight-loss temperature in the second stage.These results suggested that the encapsulated clay could promote the thermal decomposition of PVC and make the decomposition products more stable in the first stage.%通过共沉淀法合成了氧化羟基锡酸铁[FeSnO(OH)s]包覆黏土,FeSnO(OH)5包覆黏土的包覆比分别为1∶2、1 ∶ 3、1 ∶ 5和1∶10,对比研究了不同包覆比的FeSnO(OH)5包覆黏土对聚氯乙烯(PVC)阻燃、拉伸和热降解性能的影响及在基体中的分散情况.结果表明,加入黏土并没有提高PVC的阻燃性能,当添加10份(质量份,下同)黏土时,黏土在基体中的分散性较好,且材料的力学性能最好;当包覆比为1∶5时,阻燃剂的阻燃效率最高,且改善了材料的拉伸性能;包覆产物可以提高PVC在800℃时的残炭率,降低了初始分解温度和第一阶段最大失重峰温度,提高了第二阶段最大失重峰温度,表明包覆产物可以促进PVC的分解,且在第一阶段产生的分解产物更稳定.
