Objective To observe the effects of Liuwei Dihuang Pills in the periodontal treatment of patients with menopausal periodontitis. Methods 64 patients with menopausal periodontitis in the hospital were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, 32 cases in each group. Both groups were given basic periodontal treatment. On the basis, the observation group was treated with oral administration of Liuwei Dihuang Pills. The levels of E2 and IL-6 and the clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups. Results After 3 months of treatment, the level of E2 in the observation group was significantly higher than before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant ( P ﹤ 0. 05 ) , the level of E2 in the control group was higher than before treatment, but the difference was not statistically significant ( P ﹤ 0. 05 ) . After treatment, the levels of IL-6 in the observation group and the control group were significantly lower than those before treatment( P ﹤ 0. 05), and there was no significant difference between the two groups( P ﹤ 0. 05). The adverse reaction rate in the observation group was 6. 25%, and that in the control group was 9. 38%, but the difference was not statistically significant( P ﹥ 0. 05). The effective rate was 93. 75% in the observation group and 75. 00% in the control group( P ﹤ 0. 05). Conclusion Liuwei Dihuang Pills play a role of increasing estrogen level in periodontal tissues, enhancing immunity and improving clinical efficacy in the periodontal treatment of patients with menopausal periodontitis.%目的：观察六味地黄丸在绝经期牙周炎患者牙周治疗中的作用。方法选择医院64例绝经期牙周炎患者，随机分为对照组和观察组，每组32例，两组患者均给予基础牙周治疗，观察组同时联合六味地黄丸口服治疗，比较两组患者治疗前后雌二醇（E2）和白细胞介素6（IL-6）水平。结果治疗3个月后，观察组患者E2水平较治疗前明显升高，差异有统计学意义（ P﹤0.05），对照组较治疗前有所升高，但差异无统计学意义（ P﹥0.05），观察组明显高于对照组（ P﹤0.05）；治疗后，两组患者IL-6水平均较治疗前显著降低，差异有统计学意义（ P﹤0.05）；观察组有效率为93.75%，明显高于对照组的75.00%，差异有统计学意义（ P﹤0.05）；观察组不良反应发生率为6.25%，对照组为9.38%，差异无统计学意义（ P﹥0.05）。结论六味地黄丸治疗绝经期牙周炎患者牙周，可提高患者牙周组织雌激素水平，增强免疫力，提高临床疗效。
