Objective To investigate effect of octreotide combined with omeprazole in the treatment esophagogastric variceal bleeding. Methods 60 patients with esophagogastric variceal bleeding were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with octreotide. The treatment group was given octreotide combined with omeprazole injectable. Hemostatic effects were observed. The effects and adverse reactions of two groups were compared. Results After the treatment, the treatment group total effective rate and the control group total effective rate respectively was 96.7%and 83.3%. The total effective rate difference of the treatment group and the control group was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The rate of adverse reaction in the treatment group 3.3% was significantly lower than the control group 16.7%, with significant difference (x2=3.081, P < 0.05). After the treatment, the symptoms were disappeared or improved. Conclusion The effect of octreotide combined with Omeprazole in the treatment esophagogastric variceal bleeding is significant, worthy of clinical application.%目的：观察奥曲肽联合奥美拉唑治疗食管胃底静脉曲张出血的临床疗效。方法对60例食管胃底静脉曲张出血患者随机分为治疗组和对照组，每组各30例，对照组应用注射用醋酸奥曲肽，治疗组患者在对照组基础上加用注射用奥美拉唑，观察止血疗效。比较两组患者治疗效果与不良反应。结果治疗后治疗组、对照组总有效率分别是96.7%和83.3%,治疗组和对照组总有效率差异有统计学意义（P＜0.05）。治疗组不良反应率3.3%明显低于对照组16.7%，差异具有统计学意义（x2=3.081，P＜0.05），均经过对症治疗后，症状消失或有所改善。结论奥曲肽联合奥美拉唑治疗食管胃底静脉曲张出血疗效显著，值得临床推广应用。
