Objective To perform case-control study to analyze the association between polymorphisms in IL-6 174G/C and IL-6 572 G/C and cononary artery disease.Methods A total of 103 CAD patients were collected,and 214 inpatients were enrolled as controls at the same time.PCR was performed to analyze the polymorphisms in IL-6 174G/C and IL-6 572 G/C.SPSS 11.0 was taken to analyze the data,and P < 0.05 was considered as significant difference.Results Male,smoking,high BMI,hypertension and diabetes were the high risk factors of CAD (P < 0.05).In addition,low TC,HDL-C and LDL-C and high TG contents were the high risk factors of CAD (P < 0.05).The proportion of IL-6 572 C/C in cases (11.7%) was significantly higher than that in controls (2.8%),and there was significant difference between the two groups (P < 0.05.When compared with the IL-6 572 G/G genotype,IL-6 572 C/C genotype significant increased the risk of CAD,and the adjusted OR (95%CI) was 5.10 (1.66-17.40).Conclusion Polymorphisms in IL-6 174 G/C are associated with risk of CAD,and individuals with IL-6 174 C/C can increase 5-folds risk of CAD.%目的 本研究采用病例对照方法采用PCR分析IL-6 174G/C和IL-6 572 G/C基因多态性与冠心病的相关性.
