Objective: To create a run smooth, full-featured multimedia video-on-demand learning web and develop a format-conversion software of easy decoding, high efficiency and low loss. Methods: Firstly, we established understanding of multimedia concepts and technical knowledge. Secondly, we compared each conversion software. Finally, we discussed precautions and problem solving experience. Results: We determined the WMV streaming formats and screen recording, format conversion software. Appropriate reduction of the bit rate could effectively decrease the capacity of streaming media. Selection of the appropriate software could achieve a multiplier effect. The pixel is one of the important factors that affect the capacity and clarity. Conclusion:rnThe video format conversion processing is a highly technical task and practice makes perfect. We should continue to learnrnnew technologies and understand the characteristics of medical teaching to improve teaching quality.
