[Objective] To study the affect of protein kinase C (PKC) activity and protein kinase A (PKA) activi ty in the progress of the thyroid cancer proliferation. [Methods] In this study, we used the radiometric method of enzyme assay (RMEA) to detect PKC and PKA activities in both malignant and benign tissues of thyroid respectively. [Results] In thyroid cancer tissues, PKC activities of both membrane part and cyclosic part were (7.280±2.380)and (7.397±4.065) respectively, and PKA activity was (1.716-±0.923). In the benign thyroid tumor tissues, PKC activities of both membrane part and cyclosic part were (0.515±0.676) and (0.347±0.332) respectively, and PKA activity was (0.646±0.324). The ratios of PKC activity of cyclosic part to PKA activity was 4.3 in the malignant thyroid cancer, and 0.53 in the benign thyroid tumor tissues. [Conclusions] Both PKC and PKA took part in the intracellular signal transduction in the proliferation progress of thyroid cancer cell.%目的研究蛋白激酶C(protein KinaseC,PKC)和蛋白激酶A(protein kinaseA,PKA)在甲状腺癌发生过程中的作用.方法利用酶的放射分析方法测定手术切除经病理证实的18例甲状腺癌患者和17例甲状腺癌患者手术切除的肿瘤组织中PKC和PKA活性水平.结果甲状腺癌组织中胞膜和胞浆PKC活性分别为7.280±2.380和7.397±4.065,PKA活性水平为1.716±0.923.甲状腺癌组织中胞膜和胞浆PKC活性分别为0.515±0.676和0.347±0.332,PKA活性水平为0.646±0.324.胞浆部分PKC与PKA活性比值:甲状腺癌组织为4.3;甲状腺癌组织为0.53.结论PKC与PKA均参入甲状腺癌细胞的增殖过程.
