Trump and Sanders: Two Big Phenomena in US Presidential Election

The most compelling and discussion-triggering issue in the 2016 US general election has been the Trump and Sanders phenomena. Based on the full use of polling data, this paper offers analysis of the ideologies, policy advocacy and voter bases of Trump and Sanders, and discusses the deep-rooted causes of the phenomena.
