一种应用于网卡芯片的DMA控制器设计

摘要

针对以太网接口对数据传输性能提升的需求,本文提出了一个基于描述符结构的DMA控制器设计方案.本设计采用描述符链表来控制数据传输,减少了CPU传输数据过程中的工作量;通过多通道设计,提高了DMA传输并行度和系统工作效率.%For the improvement needs of data transmission of Ethernet interface, the DMA Controller design based descriptor structure is proposed. Through using descriptor linked list to control data transmission, the design reduces the workload of CPU. And multi-channel design makes the transfer parallelism and system efficiency improved.
