西州密17号是新疆维吾尔自治区葡萄瓜果开发研究中心以05-91为母本、06-67为父本杂交选育的甜瓜新品种.该品种全生育期在新疆鄯善露地直播栽培88～91 d、春季日光温室栽培91～93 d、秋季日光温室栽培93～95 d,果实发育期50～57 d;果实椭圆形,黑麻绿底,网纹中密全,果形指数约为1.39,平均单果质量在鄯善县日光温室栽培2.0～2.5 kg,露地栽培3.0～4.0 kg;果肉橘红,肉质细、脆,蜜甜、风味好,肉厚3.2～4.7 cm,中心可溶性固形物含量15.2％～17.0％,品质稳定;抗蚜虫,抗病性较强,较耐贮运.适合我国南北方保护地或西北露地栽培.%Xizhoumi No. 17 is a new high quality melon variety developed by The Development & Research Center of Grape & Melons of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, using 05-91 as female parent and 06-67 as male parent. The whole growth period is 88-93 days and fruit matures 50-57 days from flowering. The fruits are oblong, shape index is 1.39, with light green skin and fine nets. The average fruit weight is about 2.0-2.5 kg in greenhouse. The average fruit weight is about 2.0-4.0 kg in open field. The flesh is sweet and crisp and flesh color is orange. The Flesh thick is 3.2-4.7 cm. Flesh soluble solids content at center is 15.2%-17.0%. It performs well in transportation and storage. The plant has strong stress tolerance and aphid resistance. It is suitable for protected production in South and North China, or open field culture in Northwest China.
