Objective To explore the intermediate and long term clinical effects of uterine artery embolism on uterus myoma. Methods 53 uterus myoma patients had been treated in the intervention therapy department of our hospital from May 2006 to May 2007 with uterine arterial embolization were reviewed. Results All 53 patients were followed up for 6 months~2 years. 40 cases were significantly reduced, and 5 cases of submucosal myoma were excreted by the vagina. Clinical symptoms improved significantly, 5 cases of severe dysmenorrhea patients were significantly reduced or disappeared, 51 cases of patients with excessive menstruation, postoperative recovery is normal, 2 cases of patients with myoma volume continues to increase and 1 patients due to further increase in the amount of menstruation and the choice of surgical removal of the uterus. Conclusion Uterine arterial embolization for treatment of uterine ifbroids is a small trauma, safe and effective treatment, with less complications, can signiifcantly improve the quality of life, and has a better long-term effcacy.%目的：探讨分析子宫动脉栓塞术治疗子宫肌瘤（UF）的中远期疗效。方法回顾性分析2006年5月～2007年5月在我院应用子宫动脉栓塞术治疗的53例子宫肌瘤患者的临床资料。结果53例患者中，随访6个月～2年，40例肌瘤体积明显缩小，5例黏膜下肌瘤脱落后经阴道排出体外。临床症状明显改善，5例术前痛经严重的患者明显减轻或消失，51例月经量过多患者，术后恢复正常，2例患者因肌瘤体积继续增大和1例患者因月经量进一步增多而选择手术切除子宫。结论子宫动脉栓塞术治疗子宫肌瘤是一种创伤小且安全、有效的治疗方法，因术后并发症少，可提高患者生活质量，具有较好的中远期疗效。
