The synthesis,crystal structure and properties of the firstMn（III）-disulfide complex（Et4N）[Mn（mp-mp）2]were reported with the Mn（III）ion in a S2O4 octahedron distorted due to Jahn-Teller effect.Spectroscopicdata revealed its paramagnetic properties.
