苯乙烯-甲基丙烯酸甲酯悬浮聚合工艺优化

         

摘要

Styrene-methyl methacrylate copolymer was prepared with styrene(ST) and methyl methacrylate (MMA) by suspension polymerization. The effects of dispersant amount, reaction temperature, initiator amount, stirring speed, volume ratio of water-monomers on the polymerization were investigated. The optimum polymerization conditions were obtained as follows: MMA amount of 7.5 mL, ST amount of 2.0 mL, volume ratio of water-monomers of 6: 1, initiator benzoyl peroxide (BPO) amount of 0.3 g or so, 1 mol · L-1 MgCl2 solution of 2.5 mL, 1 mol · L-1 NaOH solution of 5 mL, reaction temperature of 81℃, reaction time of 1.5 h,stirring speed of 300 r · min-1. Under above conditions, the styrene-methyl methacrylate copolymer with appropriate particle size, good transparency and high yield were prepared.%采用悬浮聚合法合成了苯乙烯(ST)-甲基丙烯酸甲酯(MMA)共聚物珠粒.研究了引发剂用量、搅拌速度、反应温度、分散剂用量、水与单体体积比对苯乙烯-甲基丙烯酸甲酯悬浮聚合的影响.结果表明,在ST用量为2.0mL、MMA用量为7.5 mL、水与单体体积比为6:1、1 mol·L-1 MgCl2溶液用量为2.5 mL、1 mol·L-1 NaOH溶液用量为5 mL、引发剂BPO用量约为0.3 g、反应温度为81℃、反应时间为1.5 h、搅拌速度为300r·min-1的优化工艺条件下,制得了颗粒大小均匀、透明度良好、产率高的苯乙烯-甲基丙烯酸甲酯共聚物珠粒.
