The formation of ferrous sulfide and its spontaneous combustion mechanism are in-troduced .Various methods for controlling the formation of ferrous sulfide and its spontaneous combustion are listed in relation to the causes leading to ferrous sulfide and its spontaneous combustion .Besides ,the advantages and disadvantages of various methods for controlling the formation of ferrous sulfide and its spontaneous combustion are compared .
