从楚简的用字习惯来看楚令尹子文乳于虎的传说

《左传·宣公四年》载楚令尹子文幼时曾由虎乳之，故名榖於菟。然婴儿由虎养大实不可能，故历来注疏曲为之说。今见上博简《成王为城濮之行》中子文自称“余”，其即文献上的“榖於菟”。其中“”字加上了虎形，为楚人的用字习惯，非有义可说。但当不清楚这种习惯用法的人看了，就很可能把“虍”形当作义符来解读，再加上前后有“”“余”两字，很容易把“余”联想成“虎余”，即“虎乳养我”之义，而造就了一段离奇的传说。%Zuozhuan described the Chu Ziwen raised by tiger in childhood, this legend is hard to believe, because the tiger will not raise a baby.
