By studying Technical Code for Protection of Building Electronic Information System against Lightnin g (GB 50343-2012) and Code for Design Protection of Structures against Lightning (GB 50057-2010) in depth and analyzing the meanings of lightning risk assessment, the authors put own opinions on the purpose and meanings of lightning risk assessment, the projects for which lightning risk assessment is necessary and the periods when assessment is made.%深入学习GB 50343-2012《建筑物电子信息系统防雷技术规范》和GB 50057-2010《建筑物防雷设计规范》，剖析雷击风险评估的内涵，对雷击风险评估的目的和意义，哪些项目需要做雷击风险评估，在什么时段进行评估提出自己的看法。
