New or improved equipment, as provided, described or shown, to resolve the error mode that:emits combustible smoke through a thermally passed cell; orthe ignition of the combustible smoke causes an EDV e-electric drive vehicle (electric vehicle);and provide new or protected solutions, components, materials or chemicals to:non-combustible smoke can be generated during thermal passage of the cell, which only leads to smoke;the cell response strength is reduced by lowering the Tmax for the reaction; and/orthermal propagation can be prevented;which prevents many IT and ESS fires and enables secure EDVs and ESSs.
