简谈故障电弧断路器

摘要

Arc-fault circuit interrupter can detect and identify various arcs in LV distribution circuit. For arc occurred during normal operation ( e.g., plugging, unplugging, connection, disconnection) , the breaker takes no action. For arc occurred due to fault ( e. g., arc strike due to insulation breakdown of wire) , the breaker trips immediately to break the current and extinguish arc. The article introduces the protection of LV distribution line, the application of AFCI at home and abroad, etc.%故障电弧断路器能对低压配电线路中的各种电弧进行检测和鉴别。若为正常工作电弧（如插拔通断），断路器可靠不动作，正常供电；若为故障电弧（如电线绝缘击穿打弧），断路器立即跳闸断电灭弧。文章对低压配电线路的保护、国内外故障电弧断路器的应用情况等进行介绍。
