Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) is proposed in vehicle dimensional tolerance optimization design. This paper takes the optimization of clearance between taillight and rear bumper of a vehicle model as example to describe the implementation of DFSS in dimensional tolerance optimization design. The result of implementation indicates that application of DFSS in dimensional tolerance optimization design can meet the demand of both internal and outside clients, which provides reference to the subsequent dimensional tolerance optimization projects.%提出了应用六西格玛设计方法进行的整车尺寸公差优化设计。以某车型尾灯与后保险杠间隙优化设计为例,描述了六西格玛设计方法在尺寸公差优化设计中的实施流程。实施结果表明,应用六西格玛设计方法的尺寸公差优化设计能够满足内、外部客户需求,为后续尺寸公差优化项目提供了借鉴和参考。
