LEAF-MHB多谐波聚束器的机械结构设计及加工进展

     

摘要

Low Energy highly charged heavy ion Accelerator Facility(LEAF)program was planned in national development project undertaken by IMP.The fundamental goals for LEAF are firstly to produce highly-charged heavy ion beams of several hundred microampere to milliamperes with energies in the range of 0.1100 MeV.Multi Harmonic Buncher(MHB)study equipment consists of three harmonic bunching cavity,piping,power source,etc.,can realize the harmonic bunching to the ion beams.It is very essential for the high acceleration efficiency of LEAF RFQ.The LEAF-MHB’s frequency needs to meet the requirements of 40.625,81.25,and 121.875 MHz harmonics,and can be adapted to the bunching of different types of particles with M/Q from 27.The mechanical structure is shown in Fig.1,and the basic structure parameters are listed in Table 1.
