Wing structural design not only needs to meet the strength, stiffness and other mechanical requirements, the issue of manufacturing cost should also be considered. Based on a review on various cost should also be considered estimation models at home and aboard, it is found that costing methods based on historical weight estimations lack the direct coupling between cost and major design parameters, therefore inappropriate for use in the entire design process.
