A new type of four-way spatial power dividing/combining network is proposed and de-signed employing two waveguide to dual-probe microstrip structures.The spatial power dividing/combi-ning network achieves symmetrical four-way power dividing/combining with a loss of about 0.2 dB in 29~31 GHz.It is convenient for the proposed network to integrate solid-sate high power devices to realize high power combination such as MMIC power combinations .To obtain better isolation, a new network is proposed using two improved dual-probe microstrip structures in which the probes are attached by a resis-tor, in this way the isolations between the probes are better than 12 dB in 29~31GHz.The measured back-to-back insertion loss is less than 1.5 dB and the return loss is 15 dB.% 提出了一种新型四路空间功率分配/合成网络。网络能够完成一个波导端口与四个微带端口相互之间的等功率分配和合成,在网络工作频段29~31 GHz范围内,分配(合成)损耗约为0.2 dB。该网络能够方便地集成固态高功率器件如微波集成功率放大芯片,从而实现高功率合成放大技术。为了改进分配与合成时各微带端口之间的隔离性,还设计了一种基于改进型波导至微带的双探针传输结构的四路空间功率分配/合成网络。改进的双探针传输结构对应的微带端口之间的隔离度在29~31 GHz频率范围内大于12 dB。对两个四路网络背靠背对接的实物进行测试,结果显示其插入损耗约为1.5 dB,回波损耗为15 dB。
