In this paper, the effects of different planting densities on the yield and agronomic characteristics of Jingcaihuanuo No. 5 were studied. The results showed that the single ear weight decreased, but the yield increased gradually with the increase in planting density within the scope of 42000 ~ 72000 plants/hm2. In the aspects of the growth process and ear characteristics of Jingcaihuanuo No. 5, when the planting density increased, the harvest date was advanced, the growth period was shortened, the plant and ear height increased, the ear length became shorter, ear diameter became more tapering and ear row number decreased. However, the length of bald tip became longer, and the kernels per row and grains per ear increased first and then decreased. Comprehensive research shows that the best planting density for the fresh ear yield was 64500 plants/hm2 in spring of Nanjing.%研究了不同种植密度对晶彩花糯5号产量及农艺性状的影响,结果表明:在种植密度4.2万~7.2万株/hm2范围内,随着种植密度的增加,单穗重逐渐下降,但产量逐渐增加;从生育期和穗部性状方面看,晶彩花糯5号采收期提前,生育期缩短;株高、穗位高也随之升高,穗长逐渐缩短、穗粗变细、穗行数减少、秃尖长增长,行粒数和穗粒数先增加后减少,因此,南京地区春季栽培晶彩花糯5号的最佳种植密度为6.45万株/hm2.
