Single nucleotide polymorphism of BMP15 gene was detected in Hu sheep and Chinese Merino by PCR-SSCP. Relationship between the polymorphism of BMP15 gene and Hu sheep's prolificacy were analyzed. The results indicated that there were two genotypes (AA and AB) detected by primer 1(Exon1 31 ∧ CTT). Frequency of A allele was obviously higher than B allele in two sheep breeds (P <0.01). The ewes with genotype AA had 0.12 lambs more than those with genotype AB in Hu sheep (P>0.05); There were three genotypes (CC, CD and DD) detected by primer 2 (Exon2 T430C) in two sheep breeds, and frequency of C allele was obviously higher than D allele (P<0.01). The ewes with three genotypes had no difference in litter size (P>0.05). Haplotype analysis showed that the mean litter size of AACC haplotype combination was 2.607, and was not significantly higher (P>0.05) when compared with other haplotypes. These results showed that there were two mutations of BMP15 gene in two sheep breeds, but the mutations did not affect the prolificacy of Hu sheep.%采用PCR-SSCP技术检测骨形态发生蛋白15(BMP15)在湖羊和中国美利奴羊中的单核苷酸多态性(SNP)及其与湖羊产羔量的相关性.结果表明,第一外显子31ΛCTT在2个绵羊品种均只检测到AA和AB基因型,A等位基因频率显著高于B等位基因(P0.05);第二外显子T430C在2个绵羊品种中均检测到CC、CD和DD 3种基因型,与湖羊产羔量均无显著差异(P>0.05),C等位基因频率显著高于D等位基因(P0.05).由此得出2个突变位点对绵羊繁殖力高低无显著影响.
