Objective :To investigate the current status, traits and influential factors on mobile phone dependence(MPD) in college students for the countermeasures and scientific evidence to prevent them from such addiction. Methods:By randomized cluster sampling methods, 800 college students (577 males and 223 females ) were investigated anonymously with Interaction Anxiousness Scale ( IAS), Pittsburgh sleep quality index ( PSQI ) and questionnaire on mobile phone users among college students. Results: Of the 800 college students investigated, 99. 1 ％ (793/800) had mobile phones, in which 17.0 ％ ( 135/793 ) were addicted to the cell phone. No difference was found between male and female students, whereas, dependency on cell phone tended to increase with school years ( X2 = 5. 488, P = 0. 139 ). Preference for the phone use ranked from text messages, phone calls and Intemet access. The risk factors for MPD were involved in duration and years of mobile phone use. The scores of IAS (42.17 ± 8. 738 ) were significantly higher in the subjects with MPD than those of non-MPD( P ＜0. 001 ), and sleep disorder was found in 24 of the 135 MPD students as compared with those of non-MPD( 17.8％ vs. 9.4％ ), which suggested significant difference ( X2 = 8. 088, P = 0.004). Conclusion:The MPD appeared prevalent in college students and this addition would result in social anxiety and sleep quality. Education on the fewer use of mobile phones may prevent them from MPD.%目的:研究大学生手机使用现状,探讨手机依赖(mobile phone dependence,MPD)特点及影响因素,为预防和早期干预手机依赖提供科学依据.方法:采用整群抽样的方法,以交往焦虑量表(IAS)、匹兹堡睡眠质量指数(PSQI)及手机使用问卷对800名大学生(男577人,女223人)进行匿名的流行病学现况调查.结果:800名大学生中,99.1%(793/800)拥有手机.大学生手机依赖率为17.0%(135/793),男女无差异.随着年级的增高,手机依赖率呈上升趋势(χ2=5.488,P=0.139),手机依赖者首选的功能依次是:发短信、打电话和上网.手机使用时间、使用年限等是手机依赖的危险因素.手机依赖者交往焦虑得分(42.17±8.738)高于非依赖者(P＜0.001).135名手机依赖者中24人(17.8%)有睡眠问题,高于非手机依赖者(9.4%),差异有明显统计学意义(χ2=8.088,P=0.004).结论:大学生手机依赖率较高,手机依赖影响交往焦虑和睡眠质量,有效减少手机使用时间有助于预防手机依赖.
