摘要

This thesis presents the development of a pre- and post-processor for FORTRAN structural engineering programs. The implemented programs were developed by Dr. Bernardo Deschapelles using the FORTRAN77 programming language. Currently, the existing structural engineering commercial programs have no guarantees for users. The programs developed by Dr. Deschapelles have a reasonable time career and were developed based on proven methodology through books and technical publications following a scientific basis. His programs has been validated through time by students, professionals, and in discussions of different technical publications made by Dr. Deschapelles. The pre- and post-processor developed in Visual Basic establish direct communication with Dr. Deschapelles' FORTRAN programs and allow a direct entry data in computers windows environment. The pre- and post-processor allow direct communication with Microsoft Office Excel and Word to generate documents and graphics. Finally, was implemented the Portland Group compiler to allow FORTRAN programs running on computers system type 64-bits.
