This project analyzes the history of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, NC. Faculty advisors for this project were Dr. Darrell L. Guder and Dr. H. Dana Fearon, III. Identifying problems with declining membership and finances, this project seeks to understand the context of Trinity in light of giving and membership trends in the latter half of the twentieth century in the larger national church. Relying on the scholarship of Robert Wuthnow and Douglas John Hall, this project seeks possible solutions for what it concludes is a crisis of identity in this congregation.
