美国华裔移民家庭代际冲突与沟通研究——以《接骨师之女》为例

摘要

随着全球化的深入发展，各国人民之间的跨文化交流与沟通越来越频繁，移民现象在世界范围内非常普遍。美国华裔移民家庭中的代际关系，尤其是移民的父母与在美国出生成长的儿女间的代际冲突，受到了广大学者的普遍关注。移民家庭的代际关系比普通家庭的代际关系更为复杂。移民家庭中的代际冲突不仅有常见的父母与儿女间的代际冲突特点，更有移民家庭中所独有的跨文化的冲突特点。由于移民父母与子女在文化背景、价值观等多方面都存在很大差异，因此移民家庭的代际冲突是不可避免的。
　　谭恩美是美国当代华裔作家的代表性人物。2001年，她的第四部小说《接骨师之女》一经出版，便获得了评论界的诸多好评。《接骨师之女》是谭恩美自传性最强的一部小说。她擅于描写中国人移居美国后的移民生活以及中国母亲和在美国出生与成长的女儿之间的代际关系。因此，本文选取谭恩美的小说《接骨师之女》作为语料，来分析美国华裔移民家庭的代际关系。
　　本文以广义语篇系统为理论框架，主要通过跨文化交际的语篇分析法对美国华裔移民家庭的代际冲突进行分析，在此基础上，主要通过跨文化交际的相关理论来分析移民家庭代际冲突背后潜在的文化因素，探讨了美国华裔移民家庭的父母与子女促进代际沟通的一些有效途径。
　　通过分析美国华裔移民家庭的代别语篇系统，得出的主要结论是:移民父母与美国出生和成长的子女主要在意识形态、社会化、语篇形式和面子系统这四个方面存在代际冲突。通过分析移民父母与美国出生和成长的子女在文化价值观、宗教以及文化适应程度上存在差异，从而揭示美国华裔移民家庭代际冲突背后潜在的文化因素。移民家庭的父母与子女可以通过增进相互了解、学会处理交际失误来促进代际沟通。
