叙事学角度下的《黛西·米勒》——两位主人公的人物塑造

摘要

《黛西·米勒》是亨利·詹姆斯很具影响力的一部作品。它为众多学者和学生提供了认识、研究詹姆斯的宝贵材料;另外，它在思想和艺术上有很高的价值，对美国现代主义文学的发展起了重要的作用。由于《黛西·米勒》拥有相当丰富的思想内容，评论界对其关注颇多。从文献调研的情况来看，评论家更多是从文学角度对其进行研究分析，探讨其文学价值，较少是从叙事学的角度来探讨。
　　本论文以前人对该书的评论分析为研究背景，运用叙事学理论中的话语和思想表达和聚焦等理论对《黛西·米勒》中两位主人公人物塑造进行分析。本论文通过理论分析，清晰地展现了温特伯恩和黛西的人物特征以及该理论对读者产生的效果。
　　本论文通过对温特伯恩和黛西·米勒的人物刻画分析，一方面展现了温特伯恩和黛西丰富多彩的人物特征;另一方面，有助于进一步了解亨利詹姆斯以及他所处的时代。另外，通过运用叙事学理论对《黛西·米勒》进行尝试性研究，进一步丰富了研究这部小说的方法，从而实现了对语篇分析的新探索。
