摘要

本文是对阿拉伯联合酋长国(阿联酋)的企业所使用的战略规划工具和固有流程进行实证调查的首次尝试之一。为了制定一个保证利润长期增长的战略,企业必须要意识到在内部和外部环境层面都会出现的现象。目前,随着近年来商业环境的迅速变化,以及由于竞争力日益增强、全球化和技术变革,公司/企业必须快速适应市场条件的高速变化。企业必须拥有足够的适应性和灵活性以提高自身的竞争力,否则企业就会面临各种问题和困难的冲击,甚至面临长期的生存问题。
  想要从外部视角获得企业内部信息并非易事,因为这需要企业的合作愿意。通常企业与外部人员合作意愿并不是很强,所以我们聚焦于与战略规划活动相关的技术和流程。现有的一系列技术和工具都可以用于上述问题的分析,如投资组合分析或战略定位。因此,本文得出两个观点:第一个是通用框架,在这个框架中我们考虑了各种类型的企业包括小型,中型和大型企业,然后我们将样本企业划分为小型公司和中型或大型公司两个组。
  本文最后的结果显示,大多数企业每年进行一次战略规划,战略计划的时间目标是1-3年。这项活动由高层管理人员或中层管理人员执行,首席执行官CEO同样扮演着非常重要的角色。
  在企业中最常用的技术是:头脑风暴,成本结构分析,BCG矩阵,竞争对手分析和任务陈述。
  最后,一些企业已经创建了适合自己的工具或技术,并且对于以后的研究来说也是一个很好的领域。
