让步意义的语法体现——句法层面的介入系统探究

摘要

本研究旨在探究在句法层面构建介入系统的可行性。介入系统是评价理论三个系统之一。评价理论是对语言人际意义的系统描述，包含态度、介入和级差三个子系统。态度系统所包含的语言现象用于体现说话者对事物的不同态度、情感以及评判。介入系统所涵盖的语言现象用于体现作者或说话者对其所发表观点的态度，以及用于体现作者与读者、说话者与听话者之间的关系。极差系统用于体现态度和介入系统资源的程度高低。态度、介入和级差此三个系统的理论构建主要从语篇语义角度进行，此外在词汇层面也有比较深入的讨论，但句法层面的理论构建却一直备受忽略。
　　研究者选取了介入资源之一的让步意义作为实验对象，尝试对其进行句法描述。研究所采用的是定性与定量结合的方法，并使用语料库作为数据来源和主要研究工具。首先，根据让步意义的词汇体现搜集句法语料，并对语料进行观察分析以总结出典型的让步句型。然后对各句型进行分析，并针对各句型特征对让步意义进一步分类。
　　研究得出十一种典型的让步句型，充分表明在句法层面构建介入系统的可行性。此外，研究还显示，根据意义关系存在于文本语境内部还是超越文本语境，让步意义可以分为“文本内让步”和“文本外让步”。文本内让步指的是让步意义的“让步”和“否决”两部分都在文本中可见。文本外让步指的是让步意义的“让步”或“否决”有其中一部分不存在于文本中，而是存在于情景语境中。根据让步的目的，让步意义可分为“反逻辑”和“妥协”两种语义类型。
