文学名著重译初探——《蝴蝶梦》中译本对比研究

摘要

目前，国内外翻译界名著重译现象如火如荼。本文通过探究名著重译(尤为英文中译)问题的起因以及所采用的翻译对策等现象，试图为名著重译的研究与实践提供一种多维研究方法。 为了实现上述目的，本文通过对英文小说“蝴蝶梦”的原译本和重译本的对比，讨论了名著重译的必要性和可能性。与此同时，我们必须意识到，译者视角的转换在翻译活动中起到了至关重要的作用，译者对翻译标准的选择贯穿于名著重译的始终。而阐释学和接受理论为全文的论证奠定了理论基础，也为重译现象找到了合理的解释。 除此之外，本文还讨论了重译的因素和重译时秉持的标准，跨文化交际翻译中的热点问题也在此处得以讨论。并且，在探讨“蝴蝶梦”的翻译过程中，引入了现代文学理论知识，内容涉及文学叙述视角理论(point of view)，人物塑造(portrayal of characters)等相关知识。这些都为文学名著重译提供了理论支撑。本文作为对名著重译现象的初步探索性研究，难免存在缺陷与不足，期待在将来的研究中进一步提高和改善。
