A Study on the Influence of English Corner on Middle School Students' Oral Competence

摘要

随着中国的对外交流的日趋频繁，对英语人才的需求增加，培养学生的英语口语能力显得尤其重要，这是社会发展的要求，也是学生终身发展的需要。然而由于种种因素的制约，高中生的口语能力普遍较弱。针对高中学生英语口语教学现状以及学生学习时间有限的现状，笔者在实践中探索提高高中学生英语口语的有效途径，最终培养学生口语学习的兴趣，提高口语能力，实现口语交际目标。
　　 全文共分五个章节。第一章从高中生英语口语能力较差入手，提出了提高学生英语口语能力的迫切性和重要性，这不仅是现代化社会发展的需要，也是高中英语新课标和教学大纲的要求，从而阐明了提高学生英语口语的目的和意义，鉴于高中学生的学习负担重的特点，作者提出了利用课外活动一英语角来提高学生的英语口语能力。第二部分提供了和英语角相关的理论基础，输入输出理论，合作学习理论，学习习惯以及国内外与英语角和课外活动相关的研究理论，从而为英语角提高高中生口语能力这一观点提供了坚实的理论基础。第三章呈现了乌海十中英语角的实施过程，包括在乌海十中开展英语角的目的，英语角的组织者和参加者，乌海十中英语角的活动等。为了证明英语角对学生的英语口语能力有促进作用，问卷调查法，访谈法，实验法等被使用来证明这一观点。第四部分则是对数据的分析和讨论，通过比较参加英语角活动和不参加英语角活动的学生，当然这两组人的英语口语水平一开始是相当的，但结果证明参加了英语角的学生英语口语能力有所提高，所以我们可以肯定英语角对学高中生口语能力有促进作用。同时也提出了本研究中存在的问题和改进策略，以便更好的推进英语角的实施。
